Benge’s Shoe Store is a local institution. I can’t walk by the store without checking out the latest styles in the window!  You can       always count on them to have the highest quality shoes and you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort. In a world that’s full of anonymous chain stores, it’s wonderful to shop at a family business like Benge’s.

Benge's Shoe Store is Main Street's prize attraction!  It's always fun to step inside because it's like visiting an old friend.  My foot is not a standard size, and I require an extra slim width, so I  depend on the staff to know their stock and find the perfect fit.  It can be time-consuming, but they always succeed and are sincerely eager to  make a perfect match.  Sometimes I shout for Bruce to come and offer an opinion or show me a special catalog and he gladly obliges...just like the Benge's before him!

I shop Benge's because of the service.  Bruce and his staff are congenial and knowledgeable.  When I had plantar faciitis, Bruce recommended Dansko's for me.  While dealing with this foot problem, I went to the premier orthopedic clinic in Colorado, the Steadman Clinic in Vail.  The doctor I saw at the clinic told me that the best thing I could do for my feet was wear the Dansko's I had on.  He even called a couple of his colleagues in the examination room to show them the "rocker bottom" of the shoe.  The condition eventually resolved itself and I believe it was due to wearing Dansko's.  Benge’s is the first place I go for shoes.

Benges, has been open downtown for ever. They carry a wonderful line of women's shoes and purses. They have top quality           merchandise. The staff is fun, and very helpful. They carry brands that can be found only there. ...‎
